Get To Know Jess Linvell

With over 20 years in the events industry, Jess Linvell is the founder of No Proof Required,
a movement and community rooted in clarity, presence, and connection.

A proud Iowa native, she is known for her intuitive, people-first approach to event design.
Jess creates experiences that meet emotional and social needs before they’re even named.
Her gatherings are welcoming, intentional, and deeply rooted in the belief that presence and connection are powerful forms of wellness.

As an Alcohol-Free Advocate in Cedar Rapids, Jess led the coordination and promotion in partnership with Old Neighborhood Pub on a wide range of community alcohol-free experiences, including Alcohol Free 2023, Evening Alt-Tails with the Cedar Rapids Public Library, The Living Undeterred Mental Health Expo, WMT 600’s Morning Show, and Mental Health Hour. She also assisted with the Sober CR Sober Adult Prom and New Year’s Black and White Ball, and served on ASAC’s SOAR Committee on Prevention of Adult Alcohol Abuse in Iowa.

Her work has been featured across all major local media outlets, including KCRG, Iowa’s News Now, The Gazette, and iHeartRadio.

Jess shares her life with her husband Jason, her son Hayden, and Jason's daughters. They share their home with three dogs, Annabelle, Nova, and Lodi, and their cat, Mags. Together, they are a family that values connection, authenticity, and living life fully present.

Through No Proof Required, she continues to build spaces where people can show up fully as themselves... no explanations, no expectations, no proof required.
